My Story

I was born in San Fernando, La Union but lived in Sudipen, La Union, Philippines.  I graduated from the City University of New York. I have 22 yrs of experience. I work at  Conifer Health SolutionsCRC Appeals Nurse, St. Luke's Health System, which includes Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, St. Luke's Woodlands Hospital, St. Luke's Vintage Hospital, St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital, St. Luke's Sugar Land Hospital.

What do you love about the profession of nursing?

Service and empowerment.

What makes you get up and do something every day?

Leave the world a better place than when you started, as quoted from Lord Baden Powell.

Who has impacted you and why? (professional or personal or both)

My parents and my wife encouraged me to shift to Nursing

Why do you belong to an association like the PNA NH?

Contribute time, talent, and treasure.

What do you do for fun?

Travel around the world and appreciate the beauty of God's creations, watch movies and sports events


Where and what do you want to be in 3 years?

​​Continue enjoying my work right now and probably retire in 8 years when I'm 75...

 

Anything that you want to share about yourself, family, pets, etc., that may surprise others?

I love to collect: have a stamp collection of commemorative issues dating from 1893 to 1993

have a collection of Super Bowl tickets from Super Bowl I in 1967 to the latest

a collection of NASA pins of all the space missions

presently collecting Starbucks coffee mugs from the USA and around the world

presently collecting cocktail glasses from Hard Rock Cafe in the USA and around the world

What does being bold and unstoppable mean to you?

Bold and unstoppable is always to seek what is true and be vocal to defend it and not be silent.
